 Rooster | 17x13" Framed Chickens and roosters seem to be a favorite of many people. This rooster was inspired by some Mexican dishes my sister wanted me to 'match' for her kitchen. Trying not to paint what I was seeing in my resource and keep in mind the colors of dishes was tricky. I tend to paint what I see, admiring those who paint subjects in entirely different color schemes. Maybe I will do more of this in the future.
This rooster will be reproduced for application to my sister's kitchen cabinets. Not sure yet how we will do this, but that is next project for this rooster. The original painting of this rooster is for sale.
